Pokud si myslíte, že násilí, sex a Beethoven nejdou dohromady, zřejmě neznáte toto sci-fi dílo legendárního režiséra Stanleyho Kubricka. Jeho mladý charismatický Alex by byl dokonalým hlavním hrdinou…kdyby to nebyl delikvent a násilník. Jedna z největších režisérských osobností světové kinematografie do své kriminální satiry zakomponoval téma stará jako kinematografie sama: do jaké míry dokáže filmové médium manipulovat se svým divákem? Tato otázka trápí již přes sto let ustarané maminky, ambiciózní státníky i činorodé zastánce konspiračních teorií. Kubrick má v tomto ohledu jasno. A vy? Přijďte si poslechnout o bizarnostech, ke kterým vedla paranoia spojená s vírou v manipulativní schopnosti filmu, nebo si jen tak zanadávat nad manipulativními technikami současných médií – se sklenkou v ruce na zahajovací party studentského kina Obzory.

If you believe that violence, sex and Beethowen don’t go together, apparently you are not familiar with this sci-fi piece from legendary director, Stanley Kubrick. His young and charismatic Alex would be a perfect hero…if he weren’t a deliquent and rapist. One of the world cinema’s greatest directing persona incorporated in his satireone theme that is as old as the cinema itself: to what extent is the film medium able to manipulate with its viewer? This question has been bothering countless careworn mothers, ambitious politicians and creative promoters of conspiratorial theories for over a hundred years. Kubrick has a clear idea of that. What about you? Come and listen about some bizarrenesses caused by paranoia linked to the beilef in manipulative capabilities of film, or simply come to complain about manipulative techniques of contemporal media with a glass in you hand at the opening party of the student cinema project Obzory.
